Around eighty percent of students and researchers voted against the EU withdrawal. In the end, they narrowly fail and many questions arise, from how it could have come so far to how it will continue: What are the consequences and to what extent will research be affected? The country is still in a state of suspense - the Brexit is an abstract political event that evokes a lot of speculation and has no results to evaluate.
I traced the mood at British universities, sought direct contact and was surprised by the diversity of opinions and sensitivities.
